Questions people actually ask
Which facial should I start with if I've never had one here?
Bella Basic is the standard starting point. If you have a specific concern (breakouts or visible aging), the Acne or Anti-Aging Facial is built for that instead.
How often should I get a facial?
Most people see the best results on a monthly cadence, though it depends on your skin and the treatment.
What's the difference between the Acne Facial and the Anti-Aging Facial?
Same base facial underneath, different active step layered on top. Acne Facial adds blue light therapy alongside extractions, aimed at breakout-prone skin. Anti-Aging Facial adds RF (radiofrequency) and red light therapy instead, aimed at firmer, brighter-looking skin over a series of visits. If you're dealing with both concerns, ask at booking which one to start with.
Is dermaplaning safe? Does it hurt?
Yes, it's a standard, well-tolerated treatment when it's done by a trained professional, which it is here. A surgical-grade blade is used to gently scrape away dead skin and peach fuzz. Most people describe a light scraping sensation, not pain.
Which facial should I get before a big event?
Bella Express or Bella Basic are the safer picks close to a wedding, photos, or any event, since they're the gentler options. Extraction and treatment-heavy facials like Acne, Anti-Aging, or Dermaplane can leave skin a little pink or sensitive for a day afterward, so book those with more lead time instead of the week of.
Can I wear makeup right after a facial?
It's best to let your skin breathe for the rest of the day if you can, especially after extractions or an active treatment like Acne or Anti-Aging. If you do need to wear something, keep it light, and wear sunscreen if you're headed outside since freshly treated skin is more sun-sensitive than usual.
For skin texture worked on across a series of visits rather than in one, see microneedling. The full list of what she does is on the services page.
